FAQ

Frequently asked

How do I connect PRFlow to my GitHub account?

Open the PRFlow extension and click Sign in with GitHub. You'll be redirected to GitHub's OAuth consent screen where you can authorize read access to your pull requests and reviews. PRFlow never writes to your repositories.

If you revoked access and want to reconnect, go to Settings → Account → Reconnect GitHub.

How often does PRFlow refresh my pull requests?

The extension polls GitHub on a fixed interval in the background and whenever you open the popup. You can change the cadence under Settings → Preferences → Refresh interval:

  • Free — 30 minutes (fixed)
  • Pro — 5 / 15 / 30 minutes or 1 hour

Use the manual Refresh button in the footer at any time to force an immediate sync.

What's included in the trial, and what happens when it ends?

The 14-day trial unlocks every Pro feature — custom refresh intervals, smart stale alerts, advanced filters and an ad-free experience. No credit card required.

When the trial ends, PRFlow automatically switches to the Free plan. Your data and preferences are preserved; Pro-only settings revert to their Free defaults until you upgrade.

How do notifications work?

Pro users receive in-extension notifications for review requests, new comments, changes requested, merges, and stale PR reminders. They appear under the bell icon at the top of the popup.

Free users can still see activity inline in the PR list — just without badge counts, system-level alerts or smart stale detection.

Where is my data stored?

PR metadata is cached locally in your browser's extension storage. Your GitHub access token is stored in an encrypted browser-managed location and is never sent to our servers.

You can revoke access any time at github.com/settings/applications.

Why are some PRs missing from my list?

By default, PRFlow shows pull requests you authored, are assigned to, or have been requested to review. Check your filter pill at the top of the list — it may be set to a narrower scope.

For organization repositories, make sure you granted access during OAuth. You can grant it later from your GitHub application settings.

How do I cancel or request a refund?

Visit Settings → Account → Manage subscription. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. If you've been charged within the last 14 days, reach out below and we'll refund the full amount — no questions asked.
